Oh. My. Word. There could not have been a more perfect Memorial Day Weekend than on Emily and Mike’s wedding day at the Preserve at Chocorua. It was that magical time in New Hampshire, when the lilacs are in full bloom, their sweet scent engulfs you, and the subtle warmth wraps you in its arms. Chocorua Lake was calm and still, and made the perfect setting for Emily and Mike’s first look. These moments together before the hustle and bustle of the day began was made all the more sweeter when they read each other their wedding vows. Such perfectly written words, read from the heart, their voices catching and tears falling on the most genuine sentiments.
Inside the post and beam barn on site at the Preserve at Chocorua, blooms upon blooms of anemones, ranunculus, and peonies filled perfectly set farm tables for their family-style dinner (Mary with Lotus Floral Design is an absolute master at her craft). Emily and Mike share a passion for visiting national parks, and infused that part of them into their reception. Each table was named for a National Park they have traveled to, complete with vintage styled postcards.
These two are now off on their honeymoon (at a national park, of course!!), and I hope they have an incredible time celebrating their new marriage! Congratulations Emily and Mike!!
